Mr Martin Kahanec

Mr Martin Kahanec is a Visiting Researcher at Harvard University, Associate Professor at the Central European University and founder of the Central European Labour Studies Institute. Mr Kahanec is a prolific author in the area of labor economics, labor migration and population economics, and has published in peer-reviewed international journals. He is also the Managing Editor of the IZA Journal of European Labor Studies.
Ms Marcia Rioux

Ms Marcia Rioux is a legal scholar with extensive experience in community based participatory research in the areas of human rights, health and social justice, particularly around international disability rights. Dr. Rioux is a University Distinguished Research Professor in the School of Health Policy and Management and teaches Critical Disability Studies and Health Policy and Equity at York University in Toronto, Canada. With Bengt Lindqvist, she is the co-Director of Disability Rights Promotion International, a Sida-funded multi-year project to monitor disability rights nationally and internationally. Dr. Rioux has been an advisor to federal and provincial commissions, parliamentary committees, and international NGO’s as well as United Nations agencies. She has edited a number of collected volumes and more than 70 book chapters and articles on human rights. She was made a member of the Order of Canada in 2014.
Ms Nermina Mujagić

Ms Nermina Mujagić is a University Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo, where she teaches courses on the political science and communicology departments. She is an author of many books (Political de/re-socialization and media, Outside of politics, Politics as a spectacle, Silent speech of Bosnia…), monographs and articles. Her field of research are social and political conflicts, the culture of human rights, civic virtues, the media and the democratization of the public sphere.
Mr Florian Trauner

Mr Florian Trauner is a research professor in European Studies at the Flemish Free University of Brussels (VUB). His research interests include asylum policies, migration policies and home affairs of the European Union. He is an author of many articles in renowned academic journals, and co-author of the book (2015) titled Policy Change in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice: how EU institutions matter, published with Routledge, London.
Ms Sara Svensson

Ms Sara Svensson obtained her PhD in Political Science from the Central European University where she also teaches at the Department of Public Policy. She worked as a journalist for the Radio Sweden (Sveriges Radio) and is a former Research Project Officer at the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS). Moreover, she is a top expert on cross-border cooperation and regional policy in the EU and author of many articles in prominent peer-reviewed journals.
Mr Zdravko Petak

Mr Zdravko Petak is a University Professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. He teaches public administration and policy, and public finance on the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level of study. Mr Petak is one of the pioneers in studying public policy in Croatia and author of many pieces related to public policy, the reform of the public administration and public finances.
Mr Dušan Pavlović
Serbia
Mr Dušan Pavlović is a Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, where he teaches political economy. He is known as one of the pioneers in studying rational choice theory in political science and public choice theory in Serbia. Mr Pavlovic has published books in political economy, consolidation of the democratic institutions in Serbia, as well as many research articles.
