Zsaklin holds an LLB in International and European Law from The Hague University of Applied Sciences as well as an LLM in Public International Law- Environment and Law of the Sea from Utrecht University, where she obtained her Master's degree with cum laude distinction. During her studies she developed a keen interest in international environmental affairs and therefore she focused her academic research on emerging global issues that need urgent responses from the international community. Zsaklin is intrigued by the complexity of topics like climate change and biodiversity and she is interested in finding feasible legal solutions to interdisciplinary problems.
